Venue load in

Any truck larger than a small Pantek truck will need to reverse into the stage area.

Large vehicles (48 footers) will only be able to get sideways to front of stage and then side load to stage floor. If you would like to construct loading deck at the rear of your trucks you will be able to hire this from:

They supply steel reinforced ply modules 2.4m x 1.2m. with scaffold frame and can be set level to the pipe rail in front of stage equal to the approx height of truck deck. Our stage height is 1.4m from ground level to stage floor.

FOH Audio and Lighting

All FOH equipment is to be supplied by the hirer to meet their own individual needs and can be supplied by local Cairns hire companies.

FOH sound / light desk placement is usually on the third grass terrace from stage front centre approximately 34m.

Multi-core is generally along the ground from:

a) centre of stage 34m and covered.

b) around the edge of the grassed terraces and back to centre approx 50m and covered.

**NB Once multi-core is run, the venue will supply webbing barricades to stop any cars or trucks driving through this area. It is advisable that sound personnel ensure barricades are up to safeguard multi-core.

All weather cover (hoecker with carpeted floor -preferred size to suit venue approx 3.5m x 3.5m) if this size suites your own requirements, it is available to the hirer from Events NQ.

Power Facilities

Currently (2007) we have a very old power supply throughout the entire venue and are in the process of accumulating capital to upgrade. This will not be available for some time. The only available power access on main stage:

1 x 3 phase (42amp)

Another 3 phase (42amp) outlet can be accessed from under the main stage via 30m extension cable.

A third (42amp) outlet can be run from a storage shed situated to the side of the main stage approx 30m extension

6 x 10amp outlets on main stage.

Generator

Due to the power restraints, which we all need to acknowledge, any hirer must supply their own generator to meet their own needs.
